You're invited to come and see our amazing technology in action at the Mi Smarthouse showcase at Aintree University Hospital.
Come and find out more about technology that helps patients at home, and see live demonstrations in a ‘real life’ house setting.
The event will be taking place in the Aintree University Hospital on Thursday 19 February, 10.00-4.00pm in the Aintree Lodge Boardroom, and we’d love to see you there.
The event is brought to you by More Independent (Mi), a partnership led by the NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group that uses technology and services to support people to stay healthy, safe and independent at home.
This is your chance to see how potentially life-changing technology can help to maintain the independence of patients, those with long term conditions, and anyone who may need extra support at home.
The Mi Smarthouse is a real life house, with rooms showing some of the great technology available, which will be built inside the boardroom. This technology includes a talking microwave and technology linked to a TV that helps monitor a person’s oxygen levels from the comfort of their home.
• Find out how Mi technology could help patients, service users and anyone who may need extra support at home.
• See live demonstrations of technology of the latest health and care technology.
• Much of the technology is available on prescription from a GP or community matron.
• Open to patients, service users, health professionals, colleagues, support groups and members of the public.
Mi technology offers impressive benefits for all, particularly patients with heart failure, diabetes, hypertension, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) and has helped avoid emergency hospital admissions.
There is no need to book. Just come along during the day.
We look forward to seeing you there!
